Excellent, does everything as advertised, I couldn't imagine keeping the pool so nice with so little effort without it.

The Polaris fitting on my concrete pool is damaged so I decided to give this a try. I am so pleased. Easy to use, easy to clean, and three different easy to install filters, leaves, fine, super fine. I have a large irregular shaped pool with stairs.

QUITE HEAVY AND AWKWARD WHEN REMOVING FROM POOL

For sure between this amazing vacuum and Leslie’s pool store you are set. You are able to keep your pool perfect. You need this vacuum if you have a pool!Only objection, it skips the steps but if you help a little, it does the job wonderfully. It’s easy to start. It’s easy to clean. It’s easy to storage.

I bought this for my in-ground plaster pool. We used to manually vacuum and brush, and with this device we have been able to dramatically reduce the amount of hours the pool pump runs. It sometimes goes a bit too high or gets stuck for a bit on certain features of the pool, but overall it has been very helpful. I keep the controller protected from the elements in a cardboard box, and usually just leave the robot in the pool all the time. I have had to replace the foam wheels once so far, and that was a minor challenge with assembly/disassembly but certainly the time I have saved has more than made up for any deficiencies in the product. Here in the foothills of LA we get some strong winds that put a lot of leaves in the pool, and having the different media filters is very helpful. I use the cloth ones most of the time to get the small particles of dust and dirt, and they have held up very well. I have never known it to get stuck on the pool grates at the bottom, or on the stairs or plastic ladder steps that are built-in to the side of our pool. CONS:The controller is not very intuitive at first, and the reset button doesn't work well (if at all), but it is easy to just power it off and back on. The cord is called "anti-tangle" but it can certainly still get tangled over time. The tray that the filters sit in could be improved so that it can be disassembled for more deep-cleaning, as very fine particles get caught in the plastic gaps, and although it looks like you might be able to slide it apart, the plastic tabs holding the filter trays to the base will surely break . Fear not however, as you can simply use a soldering iron to melt the plastic tabs to the filter assembly to re-attach it like new with a little bit of PVC. TL;DR Overall, there are a few issues with the product, but it is worth it to save a huge amount of energy and time, and take the burden off your pool filter. If you are even a little bit technical and treat the plastic well (know that chemicals and UV make plastic brittle with time, so be gentle!) it will hold up well.
