We wanted versatile shade and sun, got it. comes in many boxes, took a while to unpack and stage but it all came it perfect condition. One box had the end torn off so I figured there would be damage, but nope. So it says 2 people to build it, I did not have help so it just took me a lot longer, you need 8 foot ladders. The parts fit perfectly together, very little tolerance so the last set of lovers were a challenge but when I figured out what to adjust it all works perfectly. We added sun shades and cedar lattice to give us more shade, Arizona summers are warm. Strongly recommend this and it is not the most costly either.

So plan on anchoring this to your deck or patio.Shades are very easy to rotate and the pergola should keep you dry when it rains. It hasn't rained yet, but we tested with a hose and the channels on the shades allow it to drain perfectly through the legs. Very happy with my purchase and I expect this to last a long time!
