Nice, clean, quiet, and extremely effective

This is flat out the very best air conditioner that I have EVER PURCHASED!!!Cools better than anything I have ever used!!!

This is our second portable AC in the house. Wonderful choice I made! The hose is larger, the window piece is way more sturdy-thicker, force of the air coming is strong, air is cold-goes down to 61, water doesn’t build up for draining, it keeps our entire living room cool even with the back door in the kitchen (next room) being open. Seriously impressed with this unit!

Love the setting options. Cools down our 500 sq/ft room quickly. Don’t have to empty water often! Very impressed, happy it came with everything we needed to get it up and going. A little loud, but not worse than any other machine of its size.

For those with infants or for people who just like to keep things quiet you should know that this unit is quite loud. The shut off mechanism (solenoid I believe) is particularly jarring. But, for me personally, that's better than frying at 83F (30C) at night trying to sleep, so I can live with the noise.I was skeptical about the single hose unit not being cold enough for the master bedroom which is about 500 sq. ft., but it actually does a fairly good job. Not as cold as our other double hose unit, but this one is $200 less than that one, and it still manages to remain reasonable cool in the room, so I am not going to complain.The remote works as you would expect. The controls on the unit itself are capacitive (touch based, not physical buttons) and responsive, which I like as I can just basically swipe my hand over the top to turn it on or off.

We have two of Costway's A/C units; and are extremely happy with both. The first unit, 10K BTU unit, we purchased about 3 years ago; and used in our bedroom; which faces south, and is exposed to the sun about 85% of each summer day. That unit was good enough for us, in our 2 bedroom apartment. HOWEVER: A couple of weeks ago, our local temperature in a four day period, when 108, 114, 117, 108. The two hottest days, we spent in the bedroom!!! So - we ordered this second, 12K BTU unit, for the living room. We couldn't be happier with them. They are well made, very quiet, with excellent design considerations; easy to operate; and do exactly what they're supposed to do. Plus, if you have any questions, the company will bend over backwards to make you happy. We really do like this company's A/C units.
