This is a perfect portable refrigerator/freezer for camping or travel. We especially appreciate that it has a battery that can be removed and recharged by solar. Customer service is very helpful. Highly Recommend this.

Leo answered questions I had about how the unit would charge in a car overnight. After receiving the cooler last week The cooler temp was about 12 degrees off. Leo again answered my call promptly and worked through an adjustment. A 24-hour test now shows accurate temperatures. If this keeps being accurate I will revise my rating to five stars. I probably should do that now on the strength of the customer service alone.

Since we purchased a spare battery with an adaptor for charging that arrived before the cooler, we had a charged battery ready to use when we received our cooler. Our cooler was well packaged with appropriate foam and cardboard protecting the contents. My first impression when inspecting the cooler was quality materials with excellent fit. With a fully charged battery inserted, the cooler’s display powered up immediately providing feedback on the cooler’s operation. It took several attempts to accomplish the desired settings but after a few minutes, we had it set and operating. As per the recommendation in the manual, we initially set the cooler on MAX for the initial cool down and then switched to ECO. Very easy to do after learning how to use the settings. After a few hours of operation on DC, we switched over to AC. All went smoothly without a problem. Although the ACOPOWER equipment is accompanied by manuals printed on quality paper, they are somewhat sparse as far as providing detailed explanations. That’s where their excellent customer service is very helpful.

I’m giving it a 1-star warmth cuz it’s a cooler/fridge/freezer. It gets stuff frickin’ cold! Value for the money is tough. Haven’t taken it off-grid yet. I could buy an apartment-size fridge/freezer for the price, but I ain’t gonna take that camping. So it’s the most expensive “cooler” I’ve ever bought but it’s also the most bitchin’ cooler I’ve ever bought.

I bought this as my friend has had one for the last year and has absolutely loved it. Cannot wait to get it charged up and save myself a trip to the store to get ice before our camping trips

I really love this fridge/freezer. So far, I have struggled with keeping frozen things frozen, but I admit that I have mostly had to place items in before the temp was down all the way. I bought this hoping that I could replace the refrigerator on our houseboat, which looks like a small motorhome fridge, and uses propane. The propane is used too fast for me, and the refer currently on the boat takes a day to really cool down. By then, we've had to fumble through ice chests and melting ice, etc. I haven't been able to test it on the boat for various reasons, not the least of which is the pandemic, but I *did* get to take it with me on a 4-hour drive to a rental cottage, which gave me a chance to test the charging feature on the fridge as we drove -- LOVE the very long charge cords!--and also to try to sort out instructions on using it. Another use was as a small 'overflow' freezer when a shipment of frozen dog food was shipped too early and our freezer was already full. We ended up placing the dog food in the ACOPower fridge. It took me more than two weeks to use all the dog food, and it kept it fairly cold, but would not refreeze the food, which was just this side of defrosted. No harm done, but it was a learning experience.Can't wait for this spring/summer, as we have all solar power on the houseboat, and an inverter. I am looking forward to trying the fridge on the boat--cold and dry food in the ACO fridge, wet, icy drinks can go in a cooler with ice. Fingers crossed that we can take the old fridge out. Wouldn't that be great? So, I feel as tho I am likely to increase the rating on this after the summer.

I had searched for several months looking for a cooler to use off-road. This Cooler pretty much checked all of the boxes. It’s lightweight and very portable, due to the retracting handle and heavy-duty wheels. This allows you to transport the cooler to a different location if you decide to remove it from your vehicle. The removable battery pack is a definite Game changer. I would recommend buying An extra battery pack to have on standby or charging while the other one is in use. And the ability to charge the cooler directly from the solar panel without having to use a charge controller due to the cooler having one internally is brilliant. I highly recommend using the app, which allows you to control and set up the cooler very easily. The internal light and easy-to-read LED display plus the app, just seem like added bonuses. An iceless cooler.... priceless.

We purchased this to store vaccines when off-site. When we used a traceable thermometer with an alarm we found out that the temperature varied by a few degrees from what was displayed, and we had to check it every 15 minutes to catch it before it went out of range (too cold). It is easy to transport and easily maintained temperatures in my vehicle. It cooled very quickly. It took about 15 minutes to get it cool enough to transport vaccines and maintain the cold chain.
