Love this inverter

Switched a camper over to solar and this thing is awesome. I highly recommend. We are extremely happy with it. Easy to install and use. Settings are great and has options for whatever you need. Have absolutely no complaints.

Not sure if I like it yet

Not sure if I like it yet I'm still doing some testing and seeing how it works, but so far not bad.

It's looks like a clone of the Midnite Solar DIY 24 inverter / mppt system.

Despite the problem reviews I ordered a unit as a HOT BACKUP / or additional off-grid power system. You can go to the midnite solar website and download the PDF manuals. Will Prowess reviewed these inverters in 2019 and I believe Midnite Solar purchased these units and put their name on it. Good Luck!

Hasta ahora funciona muy bien

Definitivamente fue una buena inversión ya que cuando las baterías están agotadas hace solo el transfer a utility y eso me gusta, fácil de programar y el manual es claro

Good and friendly product

Great product, does what it says. It is also very friendly to use, the fact that you can charge your batteries using a generator is great, arrived right on time. I had an issue about the performance but the seller took care of it diligently. I would buy it again¡

Updated: Unit tested and repaired.

Unit no longer detects battery bank. Batteries tested and in good working order, unit powers on via AC input, displays error. Fuse checked, Overall very disappointed because it was working well prior to this.Edit: I was able to take the inverter to a electronics repair shop where the problem was diagnosed and repaired for $60. Per the technician it came down to a single faulty component and that after replacement and testing he believed the unit was unlikely to fail again. Inverter is now installed and working.

Charge controller too lightweight for off grid use

The unit seems well made. The instructions were clear, in English and install was a breeze (took about an hour to uninstall my old inverter, and install this one). Everything works as expected...but... 1) Minor annoyance: Fans run a lot and are very loud. Fortunately the place its installed will soon be a closed utility closet, but if you're mounting near a living space, take this into consideration. At this moment, I am in the next room, roughly 25 feet from the unit and I can hear it running. Sounds like riding in an airplane in the same room with it. Ideally they'd make the unit a little bigger with larger heatsinks and more fans running at a lower speed. 2) This is the big one for me: Maximum total PV input is 1400 watts. If you get direct sun reliably most of the year for 8 hours per day, then maybe that's enough. I live in the Caribbean and here in the tropics, we get cloud cover and rain in the afternoons quite often (4-5 days of the week). I have this paired with 4 350 watt solar panels as 2 strings running at about 90VDC. I have 2 additional panels mounted, but this unit can't handle that much current. I use about 4kWh per day. In theory I'd get about 4.8 kWh per day from the panels, based on 4 sunny hours in the morning, but it's not efficient enough with that input to get my battery charged fully... and I can't plug in my other 2 panels, which would easily solve the problem... cause the charge controller in this thing can't handle it. Gonna have to buy a standalone charge controller to get the job done, which negates the whole purpose of an integrated unit. If it weren't for the low max PV input from this thing, I'd give it 4 stars. If the fans weren't so loud as well, I'd give it 5 stars. As a UPS/backup power source, it'll work great. But primary off grid, it's just too lightweight in the charge controller.

Great Machine. Just need to optimize to my liking. Can anybody help?

This is perfect so far using my 24V system. Just needing to optimize this bad boy but I love this!Need help to change all my settings. Can you fix my settings?I cant seem to make this work. I need the following:1. I want to set my solar then battery to be the priority as LOADa. If no solar, then I want battery for LOAD2. I want solar to charge my battery when it goes 25.8V and I want solar to charge it first then if there is no solar, then utility3. When battery is at 27v charge, I want it to stop charging and I want the battery to go back and power the load.1 SOL2 60 HZ3 APL4 25V5 27.2V6 OSO7 60a8 L089 28.8v10 12011 27.6v12 25.2v13 3014 25.2v15 24v22 Dis23 Ena24 ENA25 Dis26 Dis27 Ena28 40a29 Dis35 27v36 60ampa37 26.8v38 120v
