Great little heater but A/C only ok

The unit is in our RV. As you can see in the pictures had to wrap venting hoses and connector due to the release of warm air while using A/C or cold air while in heating mode. Also condensation started dripping of vent hoses when heating. The space this unit is in is 8ftWx15ftLx7ftH. A/C unit unable to keep space cool if over 80 degrees even on max! External drain on app is off, I set it up to drain automatically, but it continues to ask if drain hooked up in order to drain? Thermostat control with A/C doesn't shut unit down when at set themp but in heater mode it does work properly? It definitely uses less electricity then roof unit. 4amps on Eco and 6amps on max A/C. I believe it would work better in a smaller area, like tent, car, or truck cab.

                            Highly efficient!

It consumes about 300W of power when using AC input and is as powerful as my AC window unit! The installation is very easy and effortless. I also love that it supports wifi control so I can change its settings in my phone app!

                            Slightly Disappointed.

I wanted to be excited and I was, at first... When I opened the box. I have Ford e150 that is well insulated and was looking for a way to keep the van cool without needing to run it and the AC. After getting everything installed to house and vent the system, I can say that I am not impressed. The output temperature will not go below 78° unless the van is running it's AC and only then will the output temperature drop; until the van is shut off. The minute the van and its AC are turned off, the temperature immediately starts to climb. A true AC unit should put out the same temperature, and if the space is insulated enough, cool it down. Why the output temperature when the unit is on MAX AC only puts out 78° temps instead of a constant, say 60° as the the unit is set to is beyond me. Because of this, the temperature climbs and never achieves a decent output temperature. The unit still leaks when when the hose is attached and set to drain through the hose. It doesn't cool down even a 50 square ft van and this is supposed to be designed for this sort of thing?Others report their great experience with it. Me, it's essentially it's useless unless it's night time when there's no day time heat. I'm beyond saddend. I purchased a $1,600.00 brick. I gave it two stars because it works well at night. During the day... It leaves a lot to be desired. UPDATE:After reporting my issue to EcoFlow they did me right and replaced the unit. I've spent a week in the Florida heat with this device and here's what I've come to discover:If the unit is started in a cool space, it will maintain that temperature, slightly increase the temp, or slightly reduce the temp. All your windows must be covered. The unit WILL NOT cool a 92° van; it simply doesn't produce a cool enough output temperature to cool it down. What it will do is keep the space cool so long as you're blocking as much radiant heat as possible. Remember, these vehicles and the stuff inside them will continue to radiat heat until they reach an optimal temp. This unit will not cool all of that radiant heat. It's just not strong enough. What it will do is if the environment is cool and you're blocking radiant heat, it will keep the space cool. I've learned to start the unit first thing in the morning and leave it running all day. I'm doing so, the unit works great. If you want it to cool a space that is 90°, good luck, this isn't the unit. At best, I've gotten it to produce 76° output temp at 90° ambient temp. That will not cool a space, at least not in my situation. Overall, the app is FANTASTIC and the support is also FANTASTIC. I own a number of EcoFlow products and they're phenomenal. The unit itself is good for what it is. I wish it would produce colder air at a consistent rate but that's just not how this unit works.

                            is way better than expected

I'm an over the road truck driver, and recently, my apu's ac system quit. I don't like idling and found this gem. it really keeps you cool at night. So much that you need a blanket and sleep like a hibernating bear. Since the truck doesn't have much space to spare, this ecoflow doesn't take up to much. If you're in a pinch and have the extra money, definitely worth the expense. It is barely audible compared to an apu and all the other trucks.

I really struggled to fit this into my Aliner Scout camper trailer under the seat bin. I actually had to make custom ducting for all of the vents so that it fit (pics attached). It works pretty well off of 400watts of solar and 2 12v 100amp agm batteries BUT that's because the air conditioning wattage hovers around 320, even on “ Max” mode and even after the D/C to A/C conversion. This is great because it's “efficient”, but I'd prefer to have an option on the app to maximize wattage when wanted. A couple notes for improvement:1. It'd be great to display the current wattage that the unit is consuming as well as have the ability to toggle wattage based on your available power. 2. The app should let you set a schedule for on/off operation, not just a timer. Also, it should be more intuitive and let you set which modes (Max, eco, sleep) during different times of the day. 3. The drain mode (external vs. internal evaporative) gets reset each time you turn off the unit. This could get annoying. While driving, water that never drained could possibly leak into the camper and/or freeze under cold conditions. 4. Minimum operation temp is around 40 degrees f I think….this won't work for me since my application includes temps around -5 degrees….so not even close. 5. Is multi-unit support enabled on the app? 6. The word “timer” on the app gets on the way of other words….this could be because I have a smaller iPhone, but it's still annoying. 7. There's no way to mount this o the floor. No bracket or anything you can buy. Terrible design for something built with RV's and campers in mind. I ended up securing it with bungee cords, which I'm not stoked about. 8. I'm getting an error 35 during heat operation, but I'm not exactly sure what's causing it. I really just plan to use the unit for air conditioning, so I'm not too upset about this at the moment-hopefully a future firmware update will fix this. 9. Doesn't come with a 3rd hose for install. 10. There's a soft start feature coded into the unit and slowly will build up to the max wattage draw. Definitely a positive…. Overall, I'm decently happy with the unit. You can tell the coding is high level and I do really enjoy using the app. There are many sensors on the unit so you can tell exactly what it's doing via the app, its responsive, and it's user friendly. It will keep my camper around 7 degrees cooler than the ambient outdoor temperature (when it's been 96 outside, I've gotten it down to 89). Camper is decently insulated and windows are covered with reflective material. I feel as if the a/c unit has another firmware update and actually pulled the 550 wattage, it would could tremendously better. Before installing, watch some only videos and insulate the necessary piping.

Compressor is a bit noisy even in the sleeping mode. Overall it is a good system for my camper van

I have the Wave2 setup for one week and here is what I observed. The Wave 2 is a little bit noisy when compressor running. I set in the sleep mode and I can hear the compressor rattling and hiss sound. Not sure if this is normal and I amworking with Ecoflow tech support to find if this is an issue. I purchased the Wave 2 with the Delta 2 extra battery. I did not purchase the Wave2 add-on battery because of the extra cost. I choose Delta 2 extra battery because it is a LifePO4. The Wave 2 can charge the Delta 2 battery without any issue. My Delta2 extra battery estimate run time is about 2-3 hours. The apps software is very easy to use and functional. I can remote turn on/off and change the different mode and monitor battery status. The car input (12V) only can only charge the battery about 80W (Delta 2) when system is not running. When Wave 2 is running, it uses about 150-320W.

It cools quickly and with a friendly user interface. Backup battery unit comes in handy during black out. Pros: Heating and cooling unit. Quiet and envergadura saver. You can evaporate the water being accumulated. Cons: No child lock
