FIIDO D21 Folding Electric Bike W/ Torque Sensor, 250W

The delivery was good and it was not damaged. Easy to put together though a you tube guide for the mud guards was helpful. Great fun to ride and lots of power to get up hills. Having the battery in the seat post is good because if I lock it up when I am out I remove the seat post and take it with me.

Excellent bike and excellent customer service

Very nice cruising bike. Didn't want to spend too much on a E-bike. This bike met all my needs. Sturdy, easy to assemble, peddle assist or just use the motor without peddling. It's awesome and my wife loves it.

I use for a month nice e bike

The bike itself is everything as advertised, solid. But…. there were some quirks with initial assembly. Someone in packing must have dyslexia because I received two manuals, for the D21 and the D12. Ordinarily that would not be a problem except the handlebar diagram on the D21 is out of date (I hope). It shows a separate switch on the left for a light and horn. There is no separate switch. The light is integrated into the primary display, and there’s no horn. Instead there’s a simple bell (not in the diagram). So I was a little confused.

There are no instructions on the fenders, and none on your site. I had to submit an email inquiry and then was directed to a You Tube video. This is important because it isn’t clear even which is the front and which is the rear fender. I swear the guy who did the demo must have practiced 17 times before doing the demo, or they did a lot of editing out of him struggling.

The front fender was easy enough, but the rear one is a serious pain. The little crescent wrenches supplied were the wrong size. The allan wrenches, even the short part, is too long to fit between the tire and the fender. And there’s no mention that the back is a different size then the front. You can’t really see what you’re doing, so I wasted a fair amount of time simply because I was using the wrong size. In my case the access panel which needs to be removed threw me for a bit because I couldn’t get the recessed bottom screws out. That’s because they weren’t there. I’ll note that one of the reviews I watched prior to ordering the bike gave up, and attached it with a zip tie.

I’m very happy with this electric bike. It arrived assembled and just needed unfolding, placing the seat and twisting accessories into place. With the electric only mode at full throttle it reaches just over 15.5mph on a level surface. It’s fun to zip around full throttle on bike paths. The throttle level can be controlled to go at speeds from 5mph to 20mph by holding the throttling in the right place. The pedal assist mode makes going up hills easy. It also works well as an ordinary bike with 6 speed gears. I haven’t used it’s full range yet but the bike covered 9 miles after a full charge with 2/5 bars left so it looks like I’ll get around 15.5 miles of range.I wish the electric only mode could enabled without the pedal assist mode. When starting off or doing a tight turn I tend to cycle the pedals to stabilize the bike (a habit from riding normal bikes). This causes the assist mode to kick in causing the bike to suddenly speed up. Another annoying thing is that when at full throttle for a while the battery level indicator shows a lower level than actual level. The level moves back to normal after a few seconds of no throttle. After reading up on this it might be a quirk of other electric bikes too.Overall, this is a fantastic bike. It looks and feels like it is made of high quality materials, it’s fun to ride, and is good value.

This is a great box to start riding out of the box! Few adjustments to handlebar, seat, and tire pressure and you are on your way! This is a great bike to bring to college with the spring semester coming because it can fold compactly and take up minimal space.
